Conveniently located within the Buckhead district of Atlanta, Peachtree Hills is a neighborhood with charming streetscapes and green spaces. Peachtree Hills is designed to accommodate an active lifestyle. With plenty of sidewalks and wide streets safe for walking and cycling, you will see neighbors gathering with their children and four legged friends on a daily basis. If you fancy a run, hilly Peachtree Hills is a natural workout and connects to Peachtree Road, site of the famous Peachtree Road Race.

In 1910, Peachtree Hills was developed from farmland and was originally a streetcar suburb of Atlanta in the early 20th century. Located north of downtown, the neighborhood became an escape from the bustling city where people built small cottages and bungalows. Today, residents enjoy Peachtree Hills Park, community gardens and easy access to vibrant commercial areas with restaurants, art galleries and unique shops. Charming bungalows and craftsman style homes line streets with soaring trees on the bluffs above Peachtree Creek.

The Peachtree Hills Civic Association is a not for profit organization of neighbors who benefit from a security patrol, social activities like summer picnics and holiday festivities, and ongoing community and city updates. Everything we do is to ensure the safety and tranquility of the neighborhood. We are a community where neighbors know and watch out for each other.  Welcoming, diverse, and picturesque–Peachtree Hills is a place where the details and the people truly matter.

I’m honored to be President of such a wonderful neighborhood association,

John Matthews, PHCA President
